Lowe's Companies, Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Lowe's Companies, Inc?
Terrible.
Designer, Kitchen in St. Petersburg:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: Their training is videos only. Not helpful. As a specialist, you are required to do more than just sell within your department. Not only do you need to meet specific (sometimes unrealistic) goals in order to get a bonus. They "sell" you on the fact that you can make extra money by entering leads (leads from other departments) into the system. You have to have a certain amount of credit card applications, MVP sign ups, Leads, and other things that just add to your daily to dos and selling.
Its very slow compared to most retailers depending on the day. There is a lot of after the fact work with not much focus on tools for after the fact work.
Asset Protection Associate in Tulsa:
Pros: The flexability within my schedule.
Cons: Lack of training and quick to provide problem, but not solution.
Very stressful your set up to fail.
Head Cashier in Sacramento:
Pros: Some of the people I work with.
Cons: I'm expected to run the front end of the store without proper staffing
It’s absolutely amazing but I’m wondering if I’m paid what I’m worth.
Data Entry Specialist in Sydney:
Pros: The people in the business
Cons: Nothing
It’s complicated everything is always disorganized.ALWAYS and we’re under payed.
Receiving Worker in Marrero:
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It’s overwhelming we have to unload 800 to 1200 piece trucks with only 2 people then we have to help other departments when they aren’t doing anything
Challenging, but rewarding.
Retail Department Supervisor in Crestview:
Pros: Helping the customer and training the new hires
Cons: Corporate focused. It can feel like your hard work is not for yourself, but for corporate leadership.
Stressful, but not overly hard.
Receiving Worker in Fitchburg:
Pros: Flexible hours and pretty easy work, cool coworkers.
Cons: Corporate. New safety stuff, non competitive pay, etc.
