What is it like working at Best Buy?
It can be fun and challenging at times and also extremely stressful.
Sales Manager in Fort Worth:
Pros: Helping employees realize their full potential as well as helping mentor people who aspire to be future leaders in the world.
Cons: The unnecessary stress of hitting Arbitrary numbers and the unrealistic expectations of being perfect all of the time.
Fast paced and fun!
Sales Associate in Cary:
Pros: Teaching our clients about tech!
Cons: Being forced to sell credit cards and other services
Working at Geek Squad (CA)
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Charlottesville:
Pros: Being able to interact with clients with all sorts of problems, knowing you can help them with their issues. Being around the latest technology.
Cons: Management does not communicate, systems constantly break, staff isn't given the time to train, promotions take a year to promote, policies aren't followed or are not communicated, in total respect isn't given to those who deserve it and those who are lazy or negative get away with it.
It's fun.
Sales Consultant in Snellville:
Pros: Interacting with new people and giving them the products that they need
Cons: People that treat me as a minor or differently in a bad way
Mediocre.
Customer Service Specialist in Redding:
Pros: Not much
Cons: Everyone is very in your business and would rather spend time training one person rather than train multiple people. A lot of favoritism and my male supervisor is only really there to rate women on their appearance.
Get ready to keep your feet moving.
Sales Consultant, Retail in Topeka:
Pros: Being able to talk to customers about technology and how its changing and connecting it to their lives so they can see how they would use it in their normal life.
Cons: Management always says they want to help you move up in the company but they don't ever follow through with it. Managers need to be more mindful on how they come off to other employees. If we aren't hitting numbers help us get better don't just ask why we aren't performing
Inconsistant.
Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Fresno:
Pros: Work itself is generally easy and satisfying.
Cons: Some variance in the form of customers attitudes and management could result in a bad experience.
