Cons: The pay and hours
Hand to Mouth.
Cashier in Cleveland:
Pros: It’s physically unchallenging if you consider basic tasks and general level of difficulty. Easy.
Cons: High turnover, poor scheduling (least amount of hours given), frequent shoplifters and discrimination make the environment feel unsafe. They didn’t train me properly, starting out.
Stressful.
Retail Store Manager in Fresno:
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: No flexibility on how I am allowed to manage my store, or create my schedules. High employee turnover rate, not allowed to compensate competitively or give enough hours to keep employees engaged. Lucky to get even one day a week off as a salaried member of management. Lots of micromanaging. Serious lack of communication with district managers and store management.
Conveyor Mechanic at Dollar Tree Distribution.
Machinery Maintenance Mechanic in Windsor:
Pros: Every day is different, zero monotony.
Cons: Seems like we (in the Maintenance Dept) are fighting against the front offices in order to get our job done.
