Pros: Helping move the needle forward in medicine (genomics, precision oncology, vaccine equity and global health, etc.)
Cons: Everyone is remunerated and promoted regardless of merit and achievements yet the expectations for output are not standardized. Still predominantly men in positions of leadership with the majority of employees being women on their teams.
Very stressful and thankless.
