Bid Management Is Stressful But Has Its Rewards.
Bid Manager:
Get project management qualifications (Association of Project Managers), use what you learn day to day on bids. Ensure you are a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals and use their best practice methods. Work on bids that will win, by: a/Starting before you receive the Response for Quotation (RFQ) - focus on what you need to do to win. B/Ensure the business can deliver on their promises. C/ The company is focussed on winning and is going to put in the effort (finance).

Need to be flexible with working hours - US West Coast and Asia particularly.
