Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Reviews
What is it like working as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer?
February 2014
Perks
Business Intelligence (BI) Developer:
Pros: What I like the most is the rewarding feeling that you have just catapulted your client's business to new heights by helping them realize the benefits in the business challenge that they had.
Not only is it rewarding to the client, but also helps me hone my strengths as a developer, making me want to do more so that I can be able to help more in my line of expertise.
Cons: Sometimes, its the pressure that builds as demands increase in a short space of time. Sometimes its the imbalance in the team in relation to trust.

Great Role To Be In As You Integrate With All Areas
Business Intelligence (BI) Developer:
Pros: The creative side is best for me as I come up with the look and feel of systems as well as reports and dashboards used by our staff all over the world.
Cons: I do not carry a title that reflects my importance and the company thinks that because I have come up through the ranks they do not need to pay me near market value.
