Technology Advancement.
Electrical Designer:
When I started my drafting career at college, I had no idea the type of change that was going to happen within 10 years.
One word of advice would be to take on the opportunity to learn about any technology change or enhancement that will make your job or your company's job(s) better. You can not sit idle, as someone else will learn it and get the edge.

The life of an Electrical Designer.
Electrical Designer:
Pros: The best part of my job is being able to use my creativity and imagination to design and model real world items. Being able to create these 3D models and to then see them get built in the real world is pretty awesome.
Cons: One of the least favorable parts of my job is when deadlines come and their is not much extra help nor time to get it done RIGHT. That is not to say that overtime is not appreciated, because it really helps the checkbook out. Or when the client changes their minds several times and you end up back and option 2 and 2 weeks behind.
August 2015
Electrical Designer:
Pros: Casual atmosphere, working with experienced and/or professional engineers,
Cons: Stress level, working 50 hours work weeks, not working in sustainability.
June 2015
Electrical Designer:
Stay educated and earn a degree.
