My Job.
Junior Copywriter:
Pros: I like the scope of my work and the flexibility it brings to the table. I like being challenged to do the conventional in an unconventional manner. Being a writer by mind and a wordsmith by mouth, I love devising concepts and giving form to my thoughts through my work. The office is big, spacious and has around 30 people who work together. The diversity of work is a new surprise that I encounter everyday. The people are young and dynamic and getting together and working brings out new perspectives and approaches to each project.
Cons: Unilateral decisions are taken and this causes a serious lack of coordination. The senior management is completely disinterested in taking responsibility and is only concerned with results. Work hours are long and arduous. No compulsory leaves are offered. Business conversion is low and thus, the briefs worked on hardly ever translate to actually execution.
