Senior Solutions Architect Reviews
What is it like working as a Senior Solutions Architect?
March 2019
The limits for getting knowledge is only yourself.
Senior Solutions Architect in Barcelona:
Pros: One of the best companies to work
Cons: No way to know salaries of the other similar people
March 2019
I like my job, but I could like it better.
Senior Solutions Architect in Seattle:
Pros: I often have the latitude to decide what I work on from day-to-day.
Cons: But, working with European colleagues means mornings start very early, and in times of uncertainty it is difficult to know what to deliver. There is a lot of "I don't know what I want, but I'll tell you what I don't like" management, as well as seagull/bungee/parachute management at upper levels.
February 2019
Stifled Creativity is the Norm.
Senior Solutions Architect in Louisville:
Pros: Exploring new problems and challenges as opportunities to learn, grow, and develop, while staying on top of emerging technological trends.
Cons: Top-down management directives always asking the impossible, with shifting vision and lack of clarity and understanding, lead to consistently missed timelines and lack of demonstrable progress or accomplishment.
September 2017
Hard work.
Senior Solutions Architect in Birmingham:
Pros: You get a lot of flexability in your working life.
Cons: You work 100+ hours a week and get nothing in return for the extra hours.
September 2016
Stressful, but rewarding.
Senior Solutions Architect:
Pros: - creativity of designing solutions and solving problems.
- collaborative environment.
- working on real world problems.
Cons: - recognition of work lacking.
- slow progress to show success on cutting edge tech.
August 2016
Corporate Culture.
Senior Solutions Architect:
Pros: The ability to focus on core strengths and attention to detail in all aspects of high-quality work output in areas such as documentation, workflow analysis, solution design and problem solving.
Cons: My skillset is required in many roles I am able to fulfill and am seconded to many projects and clients taking on more roles than my primary role making significant more demand on available time to deliver quality focused deliverables in favour of quantity.
August 2016
Challenging.
Senior Solutions Architect:
Pros: Challenge, innovative.
Cons: Bad communication.
