Wal-Mart Stores, Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc?
High stress, short staffed, excellent pharmacists and technicians, very high job satisfaction.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Syracuse:
Pros: Interacting with customers/patients and the fun and light-hearted atmosphere set by the manager and other pharmacists
Cons: Not having adequate staff to be able to proved top-tier service to our patients
Stressfull and difficult, to complete larger trucks, during this pandemic, and expected to complete these trucks, in the same amount of time, as compared to our old, large freight truck orders.
Overnight Stocker in Humboldt:
Pros: My job is still less stressful than my last job at DirecTV . It's not a difficult job but very fast paced. But what I used to like about this job, was I had three days off a week, to spend with my daughter. But that's changing next week.
Cons: I've heard, they're hiring people in , with a starting rate of 18 to $25 an hour. And I'm only making $14.50 an hour , and November 8th of this year, I had been, at the same store, with the same company, for 5 years. I work harder than these new hires. I've never been coached and I maintain an above average associate performance assessment.
The pay Beats other auto places but no bonuses you work to earn your vacation time every minute of it…..
Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic in Denton:
Pros: The auto center at Walmarts are very excluded from the store so I feel like the black sheep
Cons: Management,Pay,no Appreciation
Great opportunities, just not flexible.
Senior Finance Manager in Bentonville:
Pros: I like the breadth of experience in one company - there are so many opportunities
Cons: I think I should be compensated more fully, location is not great for a single person and they're requiring everyone to come into the office
Job is good, pay and benefits are very low, employees arte exploited in various ways.
Overnight Stocker in Omaha:
Pros: Job security
Cons: Pay and benefits are not based on productivity or skills. There is no employee appreciation.
Some what supported.
Bakery Manager in Longmont:
Pros: People, and many times being independent to make own decisions.
Cons: Lack of support, Tools to do my job, and the way management treats associates.
Sometimes trying but at the end of the day it’s always worth it.
Stocker in Athens:
Pros: Being able to communicate with friends while working
Cons: When the secret shopper gets on to me for doing right then when he comes back and apologizes for him being wrong honestly don’t know why he is even there
