Average Salary for Dillons Employees

Pros: I can pay rent and afford groceries (from other stores) each month, my SO and me together can squeak by.

Cons: Customers are allowed to harass workers in every way, and if we speak up for ourselves the customers are rewarded for the "hassle". This means that for a minimum of 8 hours a day (if the next person calls in, I'm not allowed to go home and have to stay or it's job abandonment) with only a lunch that is often cut short and no other breaks, I'm forced to be cussed at, spit at, yelled at, and generally treated as less than human. This is a DAILY problem that only gets worse as customers push boundaries that simply don't actually exist.

Pros: Flexible hours and its close to my home.

Cons: Constantly interacring with people and standing in the same spot.
