Work Flexibility, Interview Clients, Accept Or Deny Clients.
Housekeeper in Salem:
Pros: I enjoy getting to choose who I work for and how many hours a day to work. I enjoy interviewing new clients, I can take a sick day when needed and reschedule a cleaning job. I have most weekends off, evenings home or volunteering at events.
Cons: No sick pay, no vacation pay, drive time is sometimes annoying.
Psychologist in Atlanta:
Pros: Flexible hours, own boss, interesting work, great job for balancing needs of family and work, low conflict calm environment, ok status.
Cons: Drop in pay with managed healthcare plans. I really work 24/7 and bring work home due to report writing, returning phone calls, and emergency on-call. I have to pay rent, no benefits, and take all risks. Patients can be very difficult and unmotivated and then blaming when they do not improve. Lonely work environment with little peer contact as everyone is shut into his own office all day.
