What is it like working at The Kroger Company?
Too much stress and effort for the pay.
Assistant Store Manager in Lynnwood:

Cons: Stress, harsh working environment, too little compensation
So so.
Meat Cutter in Milford:
Pros: Being able to get food out to people and seeing them happy with it
Cons: Being pushed into doing other peoples jobs bc they are not trained and cutting hours more and more every week
Kroger needs some help.
Cashier in Lawrence:
Pros: The hours are flexible at least.
Cons: Corporate would rather make money than fix anything, supply new items or god forbid pay people more than $12/hr
Stressful.
Retail Sales Associate in Fort Wayne:
Pros: My department and staff
Cons: Corporate is cutting hours, using- in real life a non functioning-algorithm; staffing is always short when needed most! Workload remains the same with less staff on hand.
Worker burn-out and job disatisfaction on the rise.
Workers quit do to underemployment, low pay , heavier workload. It is almost in critical stage; associates are called from different departments to help out other, less staffed departments. Because of this, own department will not be done during shift. Some PT workers lost their health insurance because of their hours cut.
Cashiers lost hours, but during rush hours, not enough cashiers allowed to be scheduled.
With the proper coworkers with the proper skills it is great.

Pros: My direct coworkers
Cons: The extremely lofty production expectations relative to the low level of pay offered
Meh.
Cashier in Omaha:
Pros: Anything I like has nothing to do with the company. It has everything to do with where I live and the annamocity of my community.
Cons: The company
The organization is still learning the meaning of Product Led.
Senior Manager, Product Management in Loveland:
Pros: This is a new position with concentration on strategy.
Cons: Moving the rest of the organization to the mindset
