Assistant Human Resources (HR) Manager:
Pros: The best part about my job is that in addition to the regular attendance, payroll processing, training activities etc. I get to interact with employees from a neutral point of view due to which they can talk about the grievance that they might have with their boss/colleagues and most of the time, I am able to help them out. This listening part has an important role for an HR person as it makes us aware what's there in the organization that is going well and what it is that's not.
Cons: I would like to keep the manual attendance part of my job as the least preferred and the last thing that I'd like any MBA-HR with a working brain to be doing :(

The Demand And How People Don't Appreciate Efforts Employed.
Assistant Human Resources (HR) Manager:
Be open minded when dealing with people and don't expect anything in return. Every person entering your office should be treated as an individual and don't promise anything you are not sure of as it will come to bite you. Respect time and be a good listener, that will help you to have a better understanding of problems and how you can help out. If you deal with queries try to have a documentary proof and always refer either to policy or any document that might help you to reach and informed decision or advice.
