Book Seller Reviews
What is it like working as a Book Seller?
July 2016
New Book Selllers, Listen up!
Book Seller:
Be cheerful. Get to know others. Take their contact information, and work as many hours as you possibly can.
March 2016
Book Seller:
Pros: The coworkers are wonderful, the job itself is not immensely difficult.
Cons: If you apply for the bookseller position, be prepared to be sucked into the cafe at any minute, without training, because they're short staffed. The customers can be extremely rude, sometimes unforgivably so. The pay is not enough for the amount of hours they will schedule you for and what you're required to do, from shelving multiple v-carts to harassing customers for memberships to cleaning up huge piles of books on the floor from people who can't just take out one book at a time then put it back.
