High expectations with no recources.
Cake Decorator in Mount Juliet:
Pros: Decorating custom cakes. Decent pay.
Cons: Very stressful. Too much micromanagement. High expectations and demands from coorporate with no tools given to meet their expectations.
Managers are too focused on numbers and not focused enough on what is happening infront of them.
Associates are regularly scheduled to work more than 5 days in a row, but are not paid overtime because the days are split between pay periods.
Managers will tell associates that the company "frowns upon discussion of salary with other employees" despite the law.

Pros: Fun atmosphere, co workers are wonderful
Cons: Your job can be taken away and given to a new employee without warning.

Cons: not enough employees and employees are leaving without any notice do to the load of work everyday

Very stressful. Customers expect way more than able to do. I work as hard as I can and it never seems to be enough. Most stressful job I’ve had yet.

Work hours are seasonal based, retail is crazy during the nicer weather months.
