Cook, Restaurant Reviews
What is it like working as a Cook, Restaurant?
June 2023
Great atmosphere to be in.
Cook, Restaurant in Hobart:
Pros: I really enjoy the culture and the people around me.
Cons: When it is quiet, it can be really quiet.
June 2023
Small town, Save Money!
Cook, Restaurant in Hatch:
Pros: Small community and no where to spend money, Great Views
Cons: Must drive to get groceries or go to other restaurants
April 2023
My opinion only.
Cook, Restaurant in Lee's Summit:
Pros: I like the flexibility hassle free approach of work hours and requested time off.
Cons: I don’t like the the family and close friends favoritism that exists in the work place.
September 2022
It's an okay first job.
Cook, Restaurant in Seminole:
Pros: I like that we get free food, tips, and some of us have managers who actually care.
Cons: Corporate and the owners implement rules to fix things that aren't broken, the pay for employees is not sufficient to make a living even working more than forty hours a week, and the insurance is $300 per WEEK. Great job for teens needing work experience, but not much else unless you're a manager.
September 2022
It is close to where I live. If I choose I can walk to work. Boss and fellow employees are easy to work with. So are most customers. Only problem with the job is that it is not leading to progress or pay improvement.
Cook, Restaurant in Rogersville:
Pros: This job pays poorly and is not leading to more pay or better position.
February 2022
Cook, Restaurant in Cedar Falls:
Extremely toxic work environment. Owner and kitchen manager are full blown narcissists with absolutely zero self-awareness. KM has given up on the company and gossips about everyone, manipulative. Lazy.
December 2021
Family owned businesses.
Cook, Restaurant in Moses Lake:
Pros: I enjoyed the tight knit staff.
Cons: At times I felt worn thin at times due to the shortage of staff, work load, and low pay.
