Low stress, non-competitive environment.
Corporate Counsel in Lowell:
Pros: I like the people I work with. I like that the environment is very low stress and non-competitive. We are a team and we jump at the opportunity to help each other out because we are not put into an environment where we have to compete.
Cons: The pay and the lack of appreciation from others within the company. The company has a general distaste for the legal department and views it as an obstacle to getting deals done rather than protecting the company from unnecessary and costly risk.
