You must be very thorough & detail oriented.

This is a very intense job, you must be very thorough, detail oriented, work with constant deadlines, good with follow up, very organized, multi tasking is a must and have a great ability to work successfully with people in all walk of life. Everything thing is highly confidential in this position.

I find every day a challenge, & a new adventure in my job.
Credentialing Specialist:
Pros: Assisting the staff, and providers in maintaining all expirable documentation. This is a challenge, I have come to address it as part of my daily and weekly tasks. I feel gratitude when I receive approval letters from the health plans for our Urgent Care Locations.
Cons: At this time we do not have benefits, and a credentials software program.
