Customer Service Specialist Reviews

What is it like working as a Customer Service Specialist?

August 2023
Emotionally challenging at times, yet satisfying.
Customer Service Specialist in San Juan:
Pros: I have the opportunity to assist clients in having a smoother, more prepared retirement experience, and also assist with meeting financial needs and education prior to retirement.
Cons: Salary disclosure culture is not as transparent or fair as I'd expect it to be. Even researching within the company portals or tools, it is not easy to obtain clear information about salary expectations.
April 2023
Making A Difference.
Customer Service Specialist in Atlanta:
Pros: Helping attorneys and staff meet their goals
Cons: Work load can be somewhat overwhelming at times
March 2023
Ebbs and flows.
Customer Service Specialist in Napa:
Pros: The commute time is short. Great good and wine options
Cons: Tourist are the best and the worst thing about Napa
March 2023
Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Customer Service Specialist in Rathdrum:
Pros: It is a small community, little traffic and low crime
Cons: The cold.
December 2022
It's okay so long as you do not aspire to go anywhere or advance in any career beside agriculture, racnching and farming.
Customer Service Specialist in Plentywood:
Pros: The commute is good. No traffic.
Cons: There is very little for jobs. Where I work now is considered the best in town, and the Company I work for knows it and uses it to their advantage.
August 2022
Growth.
Customer Service Specialist in Washington:
Pros: Work from home
Cons: Lack of understanding that it can be difficult as a single parent and work from home can be beneficial to many people with other circumstances such as health, caring for family, travel, etc.
August 2022
Be prepared to fly solo.
Customer Service Specialist in Oklahoma City:
Pros: Most of the time you are left to your own devices to do your job as you see fit
Cons: Don’t expect a lot of training. Management has a tendency to throw people into the water and expect you to figure it out how to swim. Then when you believe you have things in hand, they change the rule book again. Changes wouldn’t be necessarily a bad thing if they would take into account the thoughts of the people actually doing the job but they don’t. Things inevitably devolve into a garbage fire. Communication is nonexistent unless you go seeking it out, but good luck sorting out important memos from the mundane/irrelevant ones as you will consistently be flooded with 100’s of emails a day that do not pertain to you. If you wish to work in the DME field, find yourself a small local business and avoid this place
