Customer Success Manager Reviews

What is it like working as a Customer Success Manager?

October 2023
Great job to have, pay doesn't match.
Customer Success Manager in Tularosa:
Pros: The company is great, with the exception of low pay for the workload given.
Cons: Low pay, and the return to office mandate, when all our interactions happen via Teams and Zoom all day long.
May 2023
A company that cares.
Customer Success Manager in Minneapolis:
Pros: Management cares about more than profit, and all shares a common vision. I feel I can talk to all levels of management and have my voice heard. I am trusted and given flexibility to do the work I need to, with the appropriate resources to get help when I need it.
Cons: The job isn’t perfect, there are some decisions I don’t fully agree with around the hybrid work policy, and pay is likely a bit below level for the area, but I do love my job.
May 2023
Career Roadmap.
Customer Success Manager in New Delhi:
Have a tech skill under your belt preferably in cloud computing, data science or project management
December 2022
Business centre of Africa.
Customer Success Manager in Johannesburg:
Pros: Lots of skills and ideas in the people here
Cons: The commute is terrible, I travel 70km from home to the office
September 2022
Ups and downs.
Customer Success Manager in Pittsburgh:
Pros: I like that the work we do helps those that are differently abled enjoy art, such as movies and tv shows.
Cons: Training is lacking greatly. When there is training, it comes months after it is desperately needed.
April 2022
Always busy, always broke.
Customer Success Manager in Seattle:
Pros: My partner and my family live here. I'm from here. I've called this place home for most of my life. It feels like there are big opportunities here amongst the tech giants.
Cons: Increasingly, I feel priced out of living here. Cost of living is so high, and my field is so ill respected, that it's nearly impossible to afford even to rent, let alone buy. If you're not in a technical role, you can't expect to make the same kind of tech money as Microsoft or Amazon would have you believe is available here.
February 2022
Customer Success Manager in Seattle:
Great culture, good benefits, honest and trustworthy mangers and leaders, perfect balance of life and work, awesome product portfolio and expanding. Only downside is mediocre remuneration and lack of promotion paths.
