February 2017
Very rewarding working with people with a serving heart.
Director, Volunteer Services in Naples:
Pros: The value it served for the company and community was unmeserable. Improved hcap score for hospital. Improved customer service overall.
Cons: Short to long commitment for service. Turn over was frequent. Missed the very much when there service ended for what ever reason.
July 2016
Remove volunteers from your program when needed.
Director, Volunteer Services:
Do not be afraid or shy away from removing a volunteer from your program if it is what is best for the hospital, your volunteers who are there for the right reasons will respect your decision as long as you have been supportive and consistent with your team and have built trust with your core group of volunteers.

Great Job But Terrible Workplace.
Director, Volunteer Services:
Pros: This job has the potential to be dynamic, fun, creative and most importantly, HELPFUL TO THE WORLD. The spirit of volunteering, the ability to be of service to others is a miracle. And it makes you happy. Unfortunately, the higher ups do not value that here and employees are treated horribly.
Cons: That my work is not recognized as anything at all. There is no value to my work. I am not valued as a person or an employee. All that is cared about is that I sit at my desk from 8:30 on the dot to 5:00 and not one second earlier.
