Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Reviews

What is it like working as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)?

September 2020
Its really great most of the time. We have a great team and we are a fast paced office.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Denver:
Pros: We have a pretty good office dinamic, and a variety of different patients. We perform a large range of dental procedures. I started at this office four years ago with 20 years of DA experience and a graduate certification from pima medical Institute in NM in 2017, and in Co in 2016 for my Efda certification. I already had a lot of experience. As busy as this office is, in the last four years I had th opportunity to expand my Efda skills vastly.
Cons: I don't get paid as much as I think I deserve. I negotiated a really low pay when I was hired and I think Im getting under paid for my experience.
