Food Server, Kitchen Reviews
What is it like working as a Food Server, Kitchen?
July 2022
Constant stress. The whole place has a key 4 people, who get to pick up everyone else's slack while our GM micromanages everyone's move.
Food Server, Kitchen in Columbia City:
Pros: My coworkers and customers
Cons: My general manager making promises, and not following thru. Not being able to trust my general manager, to make sure I'm being treated fairly, and that my hard work will be paid to me. She's given me 2 "raises" in which I never received the second. That's been 10 months ago. When I questioned my pay, she brushed it off like it didn't matter. I'm driving 1 hour to be at her store. I work from the time I clock in to the time I clock out. Ok help everyone on my shift. Will never let someone start to sink. I've went to her several times, and each and every time, the same issue is brushed off. I don't take pride in my job anymore. I want to stay with Bob Evans, but I'm getting close to leaving
September 2021
It's a good thing, but a hard work because you have to cook everything and when you done that you have to go and serve customers.

You do much more than serve food. You buss tables. Clean. Pepare desserts/ sandwiches. Cut up residents food. Eyes and the Ears for the nurses. Help residents. Dishwash.

October 2019
It’s okay. However with my experience and knowledge with supervision, cell lead, 5S, LEAN, having multiple certificates for these classes along with Food service is almost shameful.
Food Server, Kitchen in Princeton:
Pros: I love pizza, so making it as a second job for extra money is a joy.
Cons: The management doesn’t know how to manage, schedule, do precise inventory... it’s quite sad really.
June 2019
Great atmosphere with steady upbeat pace.
Food Server, Kitchen in Brunswick:
Pros: My Team members everyone always works together
Cons: Well at the moment things are running smoothly but we are a busy restaurant so things can always change but you only work past that and keep progressing forward
December 2018
Good.
