July 2019
Rewarding job.
Home Health Caregiver in Fairmont:
Pros: My schedule is very flexible. I can pretty much make my own schedule. I’ve created bonds and trusts with my patients which is very rewarding.
Cons: Most of my patients are coming home to pass. The bonds and trust I have created taking care of them in their homes makes it hard to lose them and then let your guard down all over again with someone else who is coming home to die. It’s stressful and sometimes messes with your mind. It’s my job and so I have to let go and move on to the next person to make their end of life care special.
