Workforce Management.
Human Resources (HR) Officer in Nassau:
Pros: I very much enjoy my career in HR. It is rewarding to be able to engage with employees and help them through situations at work. I like being a go-to-person and someone who can help make employees' lives easier.
I originally got interested in a career in HR because I believe it is important to bring the human element to the workplace. It is a powerful thin for employees to be able to have a third party who is not their immediate peer or manager with whom to work through more sensitive situation. It makes them feel safe and understood and taken care of.
Cons: Due to my company being a small company, my job in the HR department essentially takes on all areas of human resources along with Administration and IT functions. Balancing all of these very active functions can sometimes become very overwhelming.
August 2017
Poor Benefits.
Human Resources (HR) Officer in Ipoh:
Pros: Positive work culture initially and room for creative problem solving. Strong teamwork and exciting projects. Comfortable environment.
Cons: Late salary. I was really disappointed to find that the top managment had failed to provide for my EPF contribution despite repeated queries and reminders. Management failed to deliver on promised benefits.
