January 2018
Very educative and self improving.
Kindergarten Teacher (but not Special Education) in Cairo:
Pros: It enriches one's capabilities and shows your strength points and reveals your weaknesses, so you work on them as well.
Cons: It's quite exhausting, but when you're passionate about Kindergarten Teaching, it's never boring.
It needs quite stamina, to get along with troublemakers.
You need to stand out with your hard work, in front of all the other teachers who are trying to do the same thing.
October 2016

Kindergarten Teacher (but not Special Education):
Teachers hv a great responsibility I wish teachers would take that seriously, and come to school each day willing to go their best to each child.

First Yer Teachers.
Kindergarten Teacher (but not Special Education):
You are not just a teacher, you are a student. The amount of paperwork, lesson plans, record keeping, etc. Seems overwhelming. Find a master teacher at your work place who will take you under her/his wing. Having a mentor show you the ropes of the not-teaching part of the job is crucial. Stick with it. The pay off is amazing, even if the pay isn't.
March 2015
Over-worked and under-paid.
Kindergarten Teacher (but not Special Education):
Pros: I love working with children the gratification of seeing these little beings grow is indescribable.
Cons: Sadly, the rewards of assisting young ones to develop is not going to pay my bills - especially since the labour law says the hours I work are double what I should work and the salary is half that.
