Caring for people is a wonderful career, working for Comfort Keepers is awful!
Live-In Caregiver in Waukesha:
Pros: I am at the homes of the clients and love taking good care of them, involving them with their friends, teaching them, and keeping them safe.
Cons: Having to deal with the management, who only care about the money they make. The workers make basically nothing. There are no benefits. We can't even get direct deposit! The only reason I stay is that most people want a company rather than an independent so that they have backup in case of an absence. They cannot be without care.
