What is it like working as a Manufacturing Technician?

A company fails from the top down, not the bottom up.
Manufacturing Technician:
Make your self heard, to many managers don't listen to there work force until it is reported higher up.Sometimes other employees use your hard work for there own gains make sure that your name is tagged to any work you have done.
It can take time to earn the respect of your peers based on your job title, be careful of the mentor role, if you have any extra training or certificates its a good way of getting something for nothing not sounding sour about it. You might end up a bigger work load to compensate other peoples workload.
Be honest everyday if somebody does not like what your saying its mainly due to the fact it might get to senior management. Try to fill your day even if things are a little slow get involved in document writing, cleaning etc people do notice and will say positive things about you.
Last thing for me is tell the truth if something is not right put your hand up, does not matter how much it costs or how much time it takes to put it right.
