Marketing Manager in Calgary:

March 2021
It’s okay, not the best.
Marketing Manager in Dallas:
Pros: The company, itself. I love the brand
Cons: My manager and the constant change and the way it had slowed my growth.
February 2021
A Cog in a Broken Wheel.
Marketing Manager in New York:
Pros: The people are all nice and easy to work with. People tend to stay at the company for 20+ years since it is niche work. Many have JDs but basically couldn't handle the pressure of working at a firm so they are very smart and nice to work with. Employees skew to 35+ and most have families; there is a nice work/life balance.
Cons: We're a technology company but behind the scenes we don't utilize technology to streamline and enhances processes. There are whole positions based in manual work. It's hard to push change through given the bureaucracy of a large company.
February 2021
Company Diversity.
Marketing Manager in Redlands:
Pros: The diverse community of companies, their employees and all the different people from all walks of life you come
Across thanks to ESRI, Loma Linda University, University of Redlands, mom & pop startups, all the hospitals
Cons: Lack of family here
February 2021
Undervalued and Discouraged.
Marketing Manager in East Stroudsburg:
Pros: Accomplishing my work and standing up for what I think is in the best interest of the bank.
Cons: Continued hiring of executive management team without consideration of upgrading current employees. I've been in the same position for over 9 years with no substantial increase in pay or position. I am "deemed" as still bringing the same value to the bank as I did 9 years ago when that clearly isn't the case. Yet we make new positions like pulling pieces of paper from a hat when we hire executive team members.
