COTA/L job at Heartland of Mentor, HCR ManorCare.
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Mentor:
Pros: As an Occupational Therapy Assistant in rehabilitation at a LTC nursing home, I’m gratefully honored to make a significant impact on the lives of my patients. I love helping my patients feel happy!
Cons: Total lack of communication with the Director of Rehabilitation services. DOR’s management style is that of “putting out fires” so to speak, and lack of assistance resolving work issues, scheduled hours, and especially with EMR rehab documentation software programs!

Disfunctional upper management.

Pros: Taking care of veteran patients and the people I work with at CLC II.
Cons: Upper management incompetence, bias, lawless, ignorance, lazy, PM&R corrupt supervisors part of corrupt swamp inside the VA Hospital. Reported corruption, patient abuse / neglect , Hostile work environments go ignored.
