Prep Cook Reviews
What is it like working as a Prep Cook?
September 2023
My Experience of Amsterdam Brewhouse.
Prep Cook in Toronto:
Pros: People, Culture, Attitude, Expanding or Expansion Opportunities in both Food and, Technology, and, the new Buildings.
Cons: Not Being Rewarded for my work or my value in dollars to a future or prospective corporation.
April 2023
Restaurant owners are okay with their employees living in poverty.
Prep Cook in Port Huron:
Pros: There isn’t a lot of discrimination when it comes to looks
Cons: They discriminate against everything else. Women aren’t paired fairly compared to men working the same positions. Boomer employers pay below the poverty line and expect workers to work more hours and with more responsibilities. Everyone is over worked and underpaid and the owners of the businesses are living large.
October 2022
No stress, but same thing every day.
Prep Cook in Columbus:
Pros: Some co workers
Cons: Some co workers, favoritism to certain employees
October 2022
Was hired as cashier and pay is for that but never worked as that.
Prep Cook in Vancouver:
Cons: co worker never shuts up and starts work about 20 to 30 min after she checks in.
September 2022
Good but misleading.
Prep Cook in Brentwood:
Pros: The freedom to organize my tasks as I see fit.
Cons: The EKM is incredibly rude at times when business picks up. Often times they give you a list of what is needed which is rarely ever accurate resulting in an 8-9 hour shift becoming 10-12.
December 2021
It's not bad. People are decent, I guess.
Prep Cook in Waterville:
Pros: That I can go in and do what I need to without anyone really bugging me about how I do it.
Cons: I dislike that communication isn't as good as it should be.
December 2021
Annual pay raise was 15 cents with all great reviews on my work. Very disappointing considering how hard I work. I was told it was all they were allied to give regardless.
Prep Cook in Ashtabula:
Pros: The co workers
Cons: Pay and appriciation
