Poor work/life balance.
Program Manager, Marketing in San Antonio:
Pros: The mission is amazing and rewarding. Being able to help patients is a gift.
Cons: The amount of work, compensation, and inequalities. Those that excel get more work for the same pay as those who don’t put in the effort.

May 2022
Good for the planet, bad for your career growth.
Program Manager, Marketing in Vancouver:
Pros: The company cares about making the world a better place. The big picture is easy to connect to. A clean and equitable future is important and shared across the organization. It is a vision that we (employees and members) can all get behind.
Cons: The political climate of trying to appease visionaries... It is easy to get lost as a contributor because they are so focused on the vision that they cannot connect it to the people part of people, planet, and profit. They are losing great talent, creating a culture of fear, and people who stay feel stuck and disengaged.
June 2021
Great benefits, below average pay, political work environment.
Program Manager, Marketing in Raleigh:
Pros: I like the people and the casual atmosphere! The benefits are great, but because of that salary is lower than industry averages. Lots of fun events and perks.
Cons: Very little flexibility, no option to work remotely regularly. Little transparency/attention from management. Not a lot of emphasis on continued education or advancement. Below average pay in exchange for benefits. Not trusted to choose how and when to get my work done.
February 2021
