Sales and Marketing Coordinator Reviews
What is it like working as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator?
January 2015
Take initiative.

Learn jobs outside your specific role, its a great way to meet mentors and figure out the right responsibilities for your strengths. Plus, it makes you look like a rock star to your coworkers when you offer to help!

Sales and Marketing Coordinator:

Care About Personal Growth In Your Career, Not The Field.
Sales and Marketing Coordinator:
My first job was my "dream job" in terms of what I had expected to do once graduating. My current job has virtually nothing to do with the fields I expected to go in (I do use international relations and economics, but certainly not country development or public health), and yet I am far happier in my current position than I ever was at my "dream job" (not that it was a terrible experience, I just never truly loved it). So much of it has to do with the fact that my current position challenges me and offers me opportunities for growth that my first position never did. I have so much to learn about my current field and I am still so curious about it. I also find that most undergraduates are so focused on studying a particular field that they neglect to gain skill sets. Chances are, you won't stay in the field you studied, and a good skill set will match with any field you go into.
