Senior Academic Advisor Reviews
What is it like working as a Senior Academic Advisor?
September 2021
Senior Academic Advisor in Logan:
Pros: See a student achieve their educational goals.
Cons: The work can be repetitive and being at a computer and desk all day long is hard on health.
March 2021
Great City but expensive and lots of traffic.
Senior Academic Advisor in Austin:
Pros: It is very alive and out going city. I believe there is a lot of opportunity for growth professionally.
Cons: The commute time is crazy, no matter where you live in Austin. I live only 18 miles from work, but takes me 60 minutes one way to work and a little more than 60 minutes on the way home. Housing is very expensive for people just starting out and those with families.
July 2019
Good benefits but no room for growth.
Senior Academic Advisor in Lawrence:
Cons: Hugely political - if people don't know you, you won't get the job
January 2019
Fast paced and must be flexible.
Senior Academic Advisor in Orange:
Pros: making a difference
Cons: little recognition and low pay
