Packer in Melbourne:
Pros: Early mornings and easy working with everyone.
Cons: Not knowing my shift until the day before and not getting more than 2/3 days work a week.
It’s okay.
Heavy Truck Driver in Melbourne:
Pros: Great pay as a Yard Truck driver, and work with a good bunch of guys.
Cons: The hours are long and working past midnight really wears you down after a while. Can be a very stressful job at times where you are expected to perform at 100% for as long as 10-11 hours a day.
A political environments often favouring the sly over the hard-working.
Account Manager in Melbourne:
Pros: Good working hours - decent commission if you can make it past 105% of target
Cons: Internal politics, execs make a lot decisions without considering the foot soldiers doing the work, reward system not reflective of work ethic, kpi’s steer focus away from what’s really matters
