Papa John's Pizza Reviews

What is it like working at Papa John's Pizza?

A great place to work if you hate yourself.
Operations Manager in St. Louis:
Pros: The people I work with and having a job that serves people.
Cons: Having poor management and poor pay.
Paying out of pocket to deliver others pizza.
Pizza Delivery Driver in Purcellville:
Pros: Not sure
Cons: I’m making around $5 on good days and on bad days I pay to bring the pizza to you out of my own pocket.
Wrestling the Bull.
General Manager, Restaurant in Harrisburg:
Pros: If you're lucky enough to find yourself at the right store, the store largely runs itself: employees know what to do, the managers are adequate if not great, and your OSAT should be somewhere between 60-70. If you want to make it go anywhere, you'd have to wrestle with your crew on top of putting in the extra legwork to boost sales and build local relationships.
Cons: The job has a tendency to draw in employees looking for easy money and they don't understand that making and delivering pizza is NOT the whole job. Compound that with the current culture of it being absolutely okay to berate and harass FF and QSR workers, and it makes me want nothing more than to leave.
Good place to manager but no longer.
General Manager, Restaurant in Alpharetta:
Pros: My employees and customers
Cons: They don’t respect their general managers
General Manager, Restaurant in Fairfax:
Pros: I have a great staff, albeit very understaffed at the moment. I love the community and the small towns we serve, I love that our franchise is awesome with repairs and stays on top of maintenance.
Cons: When corporate is about roll out new products without notifying all GMs across the country. It’s happened a few different times over the last couple periods. Those of us who are franchise (w/corp benes) also need to be kept up to date with the latest information. As a franchise I think we lose out on timely notification and information.
Its okay just stressful and feel like im underpayed for the work I do.
Pizza Cook / Chef / Maker in Wadsworth:
Pros: The people i work with
Cons: The stress and the yelling
Stressful. They require you to do more then there is time.
Assistant Manager, Fast Food in Dallas:
Pros: the other employees and customers
Cons: both my supervisors are married to each other and do not communicate with each other.
