What is it like working at Sobeys?

It's alright for a first job.
Deli Clerk in St. John's:
Pros: Working in the deli you can work at your own pace, as long as everything gets done
Cons: Very hard to get a pay raise and a lot of people can get lazy with the leeway that is given in the deli, my deli at least.
Self motivation.
Meat Cutter in Saskatoon:
Pros: The atmosphere with fellow workers and interaction with customers.
Cons: The 'Seniority' complex.
Job is great me and my time we achieved target and get bonus.

At My Store my opinion doesn't matter nobody cares if I am there or not I do not have any decision making powers about who is hired or let go? I am nothing more than a Department head. And I do not like the way they make you do allocations for each flyer ad.
