Event Coordinator Reviews
What is it like working as an Event Coordinator?
May 2016
Event Coordinator:
Pros: My job challenges me on a daily basis.
I have a large scope of work which enhances my skill set.
Office conditions are flexible and we enjoy the comfort and exposure of a corporate media giant.
Perks are building good relations with prominent individuals in the industry.
Cons: The job holds no true security.
While growth is possible, I feel taken advantage of as a strong independent worker.
I carry a huge amount of responsibility with very few rewards.
There are no benefits either making the burden of a personal life a bit over baring.

Cons: As an Events Coordinator with 7 conferences a year, I don't have time to book travel and airport shuttles for staff. Because "events" is in my title, I am expected to make dinner reservations and plan staff parties.
