August 2015
Event Coordinator:
Pros: The culture of Universal makes it a great company to work for. I have been able to network with numberous people. I have a great office environment and the office hours are reasonable.
Cons: My least favorite thing about my job is not being able to make executive decisions about events or programs I am planning. I also think that the pay rate is low compared to other companies.
August 2015
Management.
Event Coordinator:
Pros: People management, organising small and large scale events, making sure social pages are lively, relevant and professional. Mentoring and inspiring teams to promote brand image. Networking within the fitness industry and making contacts.
Cons: The autonomy, working solo instead of in a team. The uncertainty as often we are called upon to drop our projects and attend another company matter. No clear and direct results and KPI's. No incentives or room to grow and abuse of overtime worked. Constantly going above and beyond to prove my existence with little recognition.
