Pros: Not too stressful but often periods of boredom when there is nothing to do.
Cons: Long hours (12),Can't leave site and have to work holidays.

Security Guard:
Pros: Self supervising job, no direct stress on the field from superiors. Not much work to do if you play your cards right, good for a student like me.
Cons: Pay, benefits, management, hours.
The pay is never enough, most security guards have side jobs, such like me as a full time student. Most employees are not passionate about their job, the management uses us as tokens of liability instead of actually trying to make the site a better place.
But you get what you pay for, the clients are cheap, the employees are poor, management is lazy and cheap, there will be no good outcome.
High paying security jobs are very demanding, and even if you get to the top as a security guard, I would doubt you can feed a family without government aid.
This is not a career, it is a job.
