DaVita Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at DaVita Inc.?

The training is important.
Patient Care Technician in Bradenton:
Pros: Training/possible advancement
Cons: All the centers feel like “mom and pop” shops. This is a bad thing, as The Davita Way is rarely implemented- just power hungry charge nurses with no oversight or handlers.
Stressful hard rewarding work, horrible pay.
Dialysis Technician in Taylorville:
Pros: My patients and a few most co- workers
Cons: Pay, FA micromanaging especially if she is stressed, she takes it out on the team. And overlooks poor patient care, and doesn’t reprimand an employee who is mean to pts ,staff, and her.
No benefits for knowledge.
Certified Hemodialysis Technician in Memphis:
Pros: Patients
Cons: People that are just their for a check and doesn’t t care about the patients.
Fast Paced with Little Pay.
Patient Care Technician in Hokes Bluff:
Pros: Patient care, and getting to learn about the patients and their lives
Cons: Pay, no hours on scheduled work days and using pto to make up for lost hours to make check sustainable
It is rewarding since I tend to bond with my patients.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) in Lithonia:
Pros: Team work
Cons: We tend to work short and this leads to burn out
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) in Troutville:
Pros: Management, patients, benefits.
Cons: Extremely disorganized and inefficient orientation process, software is extremely outdated and I.T. is called frequently, top-heavy on management and too light on workers, PCTs are grossly underpaid, RNs are not properly compensated for their overall nursing experience, management is spread too thin causing too much to fall on workers, upper management does not ask workers their experience on what could be improved/helped, upper management seems disconnected from "how things actually work".
It's a hard job and need more pay.
Certified Hemodialysis Technician in Edenton:
Pros: Taking care of my patients have long hours
Cons: It starts early morning ends late in the evening
