DaVita Inc. Reviews
What is it like working at DaVita Inc.?
Can be a little overwhelming because of the patients that have other hardships along with their medical issues.
Licensed Social Worker in Plainfield:
Pros: Having conversation with most of my older patients.
Cons: The nurses can sometimes appear to be rude or short with patients who may have questions.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) in North Haledon:
The support and help I get from my coworkers and the facility administrator is great! Teamwork is practiced in my facility. Satisfaction from helping patients is another story. I feel that it is non-existent. I feel like a worker in a factory assembly line: get the job done and fast.
Revenue Cycle Specialist in Nashville:
The culture is what stands out the most about DaVita. Lots of engagement activities and fun things to be involved in. However the pay for health information Management is not competitive and lower than state averages even based on experience.
Its awesome.
Patient Care Technician in Medford:
Pros: I get to help patients with end stage renal failure. I get to help them maintain as long as they can.
Cons: n/a
Dialysis Technician in York:
Pros: My patients are my favorite. Each patient you get to build a friendship with and know all about them and their families, hobbies and interests. Also the teaching and education to the patients and family to help support their lifestyle.
Cons: Massive disorganization , no accountability, no solved issues or concerns of issues that have been voiced. It’s uncontrolled chaos that does not have to exist if we had a leader that would listen and give opportunities that are being said to do a trial basis of ideas that have been expressed to see if we can improve quality care, including staff and the quality of our work environment to be a positive and rewarding. Including having uniformity, communication, and a platform for voicing concerns, positive and productive initiatives and a place that you feel valued and part of a team. I cannot say Davita as a whole is like this. However my region is.
Very time consuming and no work life balance.
Certified Dialysis Technician in Southern Pines:
Pros: The patients
Cons: The long hours, never knowing when your gonna get off, with extra duty added on with very low pay.
It’s a satisfying but stressful & sometimes not appreciated by both teammates & patients.
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) in Kosciusko:
Pros: Schedule
Cons: Early clock in
