U.S. Marine Corps Reviews

What is it like working at U.S. Marine Corps?

Challenging Occupation.
Network Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: The exposure to different technologies offers unique development opportunities.
Cons: I dislike the ancillary work that doesn't affect lethality.
Challenging and alot of reading.
Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: Learning new systems so I have that knowledge to pass on.
Cons: Getting up at 6am to swim in freezing cold water.
100% buy in from you 0% from anyone else.
Supply Chain Manager in Beaufort:
Pros: I love being an officer and being able to mold and shape Marines.
Cons: It is nearly impossible to get any buy-in from anyone outside of supply. Something is messed up by someone else? Your fault. Knock it out of the park? No one cares.
Pretty straight foward, however military regulations and pay make you second guess.
Supply Chain Specialist in Phoenix:
Pros: Being a marine and benefits
Cons: Leadership and overworking
Don’t expect a huge paycheck for the work you do.
Aviation Maintenance Technician in Charleston:
Pros: Serving my country and learning all I can about aviation.
Cons: The pay is too low.
Organizational Impact.
Director of Knowledge Management in Jacksonville:
Pros: Proposing solutions in my job field being adopted by the institution.
Cons: Employees thinking the role is singularly focused on SharePoint.
Not Great.
Intelligence Analyst in Austin:
Pros: I have an impact on marines, and those around me. I work a mission that gives a certain amount of accomplishment at that mission.
Cons: It's a list: Pft/Cft hair requirements, room maintenance, the inability to say no to a potential move. The lack of freedom.
