Allied Universal Corporation Reviews

What is it like working at Allied Universal Corporation?

I like my job and will keep my job for at 10 yrs.
Security Guard in Memphis:
Pros: I like all the cold air in vehicle that comes from the air conditioning sometimes it gets to cold but that's alright I just reach over and turn it down some.
Cons: really nothin I like this job more than anything in the whole wide world. Of course I'd like it even more if I were President. But I know that's never going to ocurre. But anyway I like my job and am going to keep it. For at least 10 yrs.
Highly depends on the specific site you work at.
Security Officer in Orlando:
Pros: Walking around most of the day
Cons: Walking around most of the day
Security Supervisor in Littleton:
There is no communication from middle management to supervisors. When supervisors need coverage they are told the shift will be covered and then no one will show up. Compensation is non existent, benefits are paid through the nose. Even the cheapest benefits are higher then many security companies.
I Believe that im capable of more and im undervauled in this field.
Security Supervisor in Indianapolis:
Pros: Its easy to me for being in the field for so long
Cons: its too easy not enough challenge and I know I make the company more than they pay me for.
Decent Job Fair employer.
Security Officer in Fort Lauderdale:
Pros: Honesty frank fair employer
Cons: Expecting to work long hrs Cold Hard Supervisors
Good luck getting your needs met no matter how dedicated you are.
Security Supervisor in Vancouver:
Pros: My officers and the client. The site I work at is amazing.
Cons: Everything with the lack of support and legal compliance standards from Branch. I have to teach them how to retain documents and follow real procedures. No simple guidance. I have worked to get everything up to compliance and branch could care less if we are following legal obligations to our client and seem shocked when I try and advise we follow up to get to compliance standards.
Not feeling appreciated.
Security Officer in Orlando:
Pros: I'm not sure
Cons: Not having the same opportunity as everyone else
