Aspen Dental Reviews

What is it like working at Aspen Dental?

Positive review.
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Somerset:
Pros: Great dentists and employees
Cons: Stressful can be overwhelmed with several patients at one time
Dental Office Manager in Bradenton:
Aspen Dental gave me the opportunity to start a whole new career even though I had very little experience in dentistry, and I will always be grateful for that. It can be very lucrative if you are in the right office (bonuses are usually structured off of production) They are centered around a culture of always saying Yes, and being very "patient centric". They instill the importance of patient service and that anyone who walks through our doors can get the care they need. That being said, like any business model, there are cons. Work-life balance is very difficult to achieve unless you are fully staffed (which is close to impossible these days) and even then it's a challenge. Being opened 10 hours a day does not seem to be good enough, as they are looking to soon extend hours and additional days, which without proper staffing, leaves a lot of overworked, burnt out employees.
It is an excellent company to learn and gain experience.
Dental Laboratory Technician in Austin:
Pros: Work hand in hand with the doctors and have the opportunity to see the patient directly.
Extremely busy, Employees are very capable and asked to do a lot, but retention is difficult due to high-pace of work and understaffing.
Project Manager, Information Technology (IT) in Syracuse:
Pros: Friendly co-workers, a high-learning based environment
Cons: the unsustainable pace of growth, demanding workload, lack of human capital.
Fast paced, rewarding if you stay a PSR.
Patient Services Representative in Brattleboro:
Pros: Finding ways I can help people get the work done they need.
Cons: Management transparency.
Not for the faint of heart.
Office Manager in Elgin:
Pros: Helping people
Cons: When people can’t afford their dental care. Or have a bad experience
Annual pay increases are pennies.
Dental Laboratory Technician in Daytona Beach:
Pros: Independently work and manage the lab flow.
Cons: Not getting bonuses nor good annual raises. Having to use broken equipment before it’s approved by corporate to replace. Having maintenance issues like the broken AC currently for the last 4 days.
