Asrc Federal Holding Company Reviews
What is it like working at Asrc Federal Holding Company?
Good place to work.
Principal Systems Engineer in Indian Head:
Pros: It pays the bills well. I am afforded exciting opportunities to work on interesting projects (with far reaching effects) and travel. I feel like I'm contributing to something bigger than myself. It's a job. I like that I feel like I am only a few steps removed from decision makers. I have been advanced in position each year since I started, so that's nice. I like my immediate supervisors always seem to want the best for me and want me to succeed, whether its working for them or somebody else. Cliched take: feels like a family ugh. I like that they've taken chances on me and it's paid of for myself and them, each time. I get to do the work that I actually like to do and learn a little bit more each day, so that is a plus.
Cons: It's a job, so that in itself is kind of something to not like about it. I feel like the contracts I have been part of have been managed well, but I also think the idea of "lowest bidder, technically acceptable" when it comes to government contracts is a joke, but that's more of a gripe with the government more so than the company. Not too many complaints if I'm being honest. Their employee portal could be better; it would be nice to have access to important standard forms (like I've been editing the same travel request form for 2 years now, because I can't just go into a share point and download a fresh copy). They also changed health insurance from BCBS to Cigna and that was a massive downgrade in my humble opinion.
Data Analyst in El Paso:
ASRC is a terrible company, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This company doesn't have any room to grow, no incentives, they don't acknowledge the good but quick when it comes to the bad stuff! Management is worse!
