Unappreciated.
Restaurant Manager in Wilmington:
Pros: The company is awesome.
Cons: Those of us in middle management are undervalued. Poorly paid senior/ veteran staff. It has not compensated for cost of living.
Not a good fit for what the companies current state is.
Restaurant Manager in Pomona:
Pros: Casual/formal level of customer service.
Cons: No communication from upper management on directive goals. Corp/upper management isn't worried about fixing issues just resolving them. Company preaches about developing and coaching but only criticizes and punishes. No sense of reward or accomplishment. Employee assistance program does nearly nonexistent.

Pros: The company is great, the food is amazing and the relationships with our guest are the best! Worth the bit of stress you would get at any other restaurant job.
Cons: Management should be more involved on the floor taking with our guest and more involved with their staff to ensure a smooth shift. Higher standards should be set for a reputable company such as Darden.

You have a lot of responsibilities but if you manage your time the responsibilities will all fall into place it is not hard the hardest thing is to manage time.

Cons: As a manager I don't like the late nights that's the only thing I do not like

Pros: Schedule flexibility, opportunity to advance. 100 best companies to work for by Fortune 100. Interaction with people. New challenges everyday.
Cons: Working nights and doing close opens, no weekends off unless requested and only one per month and you usually have to work 8-10 days in a row to get it. The guest can be very rude. High stress environment on some days.
