EnVista Reviews

What is it like working at EnVista?

Great work place.
Research Scientist in Irvine:
Pros: no micromanaging and complete trust and support from my direct manager so I have freedom how I can do my project
Cons: some people have been leaving and I realized the turn over rate of people here is ~2 years, which I'm not sure if it's good or bad
Great start! Stagnant Opportunities.
Senior Systems Administrator in Dallas:
Pros: Full use of skills. Work-life balance. Good work-remote lifestyle. Great culture; everyone is respectful, courteous and cordial. New education opportunities. Cool tools in the tech arena. Technology use autonomy.
Cons: Stagnant role. After 6 years with company, I still have same title despite role changes and many org changes/different reporting managers at different levels of the company. No career path, no advancement opportunities, no feedback on what needs to be done to be promoted (or even to have title changed to match the current role despite over 200 unique titles when we had ~400 associates). Even lateral movement next to impossible (we've lost associates wanting to join our team due to lack of process and no discussions about how to make that happen). Very white; needs diversity. Onboarding is a challenge.
Great start, stagnant career path.
Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer in Dallas:
Pros: Full use of my skills. Great compensation. Good culture. Work-life balance. New education opportunities. Good work remote lifestyle.
Cons: Stagnant role. After six years, still have same title, even after many organization changes. No advancement opportunities. No career path. Even lateral movement next to impossible (we've lost associates wanting to join our team due to lack of process). Onboarding is a challenge. Too many tools in our chain across departments.
Very exciting. Every week is new work that makes me think.
Project Manager, (Unspecified Type / General) in Plymouth:
Pros: Nice people of different backgrounds
Cons: I work too many hours in so many cases and I bring big revenues to the company but i am not paid accordingly
Challenging but rewarding.
ERP Consultant in Carmel:
Pros: It is something different everyday. New challenges and problem solving.
Cons: Management
Frustrating without ability to do user testing or a mentor.
UX Designer in Carmel:
Pros: People are held to account. It’s not just words. Lots of freedom to pursue ideas and take ownership.
Cons: I can’t get to actual users to perform usability tests or other user testing, no other UX person on my team, and not a lot of interaction with the team.
