Great people but stagnant in growth.
Aerospace Engineer in San Diego:
Pros: I love the people I got to meet. There are amazing opportunities to work on actual components as most work is in-house.
Cons: Seems like once you’re in a position your salary compensation does not grow much after the year you joined, making the value of putting in higher expectations or lesser compensated the same.
Exciting,
Business Development Manager in San Diego:
Pros: Potential Customer contact, global travel, describing our great products to influence decision makers
Cons: Convincing a particular customer erncampign is with the BD budget.
Difficult.
Manufacturing Supervisor in San Diego:
Pros: My Manager, and some of my peers.
Cons: Not enough opportunities for advancement.
GA-ASI Program/Project Management.
Project Manager, Manufacturing in San Diego:
Pros: The independence and trust placed in me.
Cons: The lack of focus to meet production/manufacturing deadlines. (e.g. engineers and production/manufacturing don't mix).
Mechanical Engineer:
The biggest selling point for GA is the people. The environment there helps develop a comradary that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I really miss my old co-workers, but another opportunity stole me away.
Good working environment.
Project Engineer:
Pros: I'm constantly working on different projects, I like the people I work with, vacation time is easy to schedule.
Cons: Working with subcontractors can be challenging, sometimes the job can be boring.
Software Developer:
Pros: Challenging work, great coworkers, jobs with purpose.
Cons: Management mis-management, no investment in employee development.
